This week past week in Makerspace students in K-2 and Ms. Herget's Grade 3 class, students explored their Trickster provinces in a creative, hands-on way using loose parts. Working collaboratively, they designed and built visual representations of their provinces while thinking about landscapes, plants and animals, and unique features. Then students created a title for their piece, focusing on descriptive language. This task encouraged creativity, problem-solving, and spatial thinking as students shared their understanding of the Canadian provinces.
