This week in Makerspace, students in Grades 3–5 and Kinder took on a Moon Mission challenge. Their task was to design and build a robot capable of retrieving a long-lost stuffed toy from the moon. The students embraced the challenge, coming up with a wide variety of creative solutions for how their robots could accomplish the mission. They also demonstrated thoughtful design strategies to address the unique challenges of operating in space.
