For our last week in Makerspace, Grade 1 students, as well as, and Grade 3 and Kinder buddy classes, collaborated using Tale-Bots to design their own maps, complete with student designs of popular landmarks. They then programmed the Tale-Bots to navigate their maps, developing skills in sequencing, direction, and creative design.
Meanwhile, Grade 2 students engaged in coding challenges using the Lightbot app, practicing step-by-step instructions to solve puzzles and strengthen their computational thinking skills.
Across all grade levels, students demonstrated creativity, collaboration, and persistence as they explored learning in Makerspace.
